Presidential candidate Herman Cain on Sunday defended his opposition to a new mosque in Tennessee, expressing concern about Shariah law and declaring Americans "have the right" to ban mosques in their communities.
Cain, who stirred controversy this year by saying he would be uncomfortable appointing a Muslim to his Cabinet if elected, first expressed concern Thursday about the controversial mosque in Murfreesboro, Tenn. That mosque has been the subject of demonstrations and legal challenges in the wake of the controversy over the so-called "Ground Zero mosque" in New York City.

Do you still believe the differences are simply about Democrats vs. Republicans? Wake up! Barack Obama transcends partisan politics. He is not simply a Democratic president, he is possibly, no not possibly, with out a doubt he is a radical, anti-American president hiding within the Democratic Party.

First: Healthcare
In this rich industrialized nation where billions of dollars are sent overseas, every American should receive healthcare. Call it a right, call it morally just, however the hell you label it, it should be done. Obamacare exploits the void.
Barack Obama is using those not insured, some of them my loved ones, as an excuse to ram this Marxist behemoth bill down our throats. Obamacare will harm Americans, not help them.
Why is he doing this? The devil is in the details. Harm the economy, redistribute wealth, acquire more governmental power, healthcare be damned it is simply the vehicle. Obama is counting on the gullible and emotional side of you to buy into his plan and then allow him to rebuild our nation... in his image.
The first casualties are our (a) soldiers, (b) women, and (c) elderly.
(a) Barack Obama restored the end of life manual for soldiers returning emotionally and physically scarred from war. Former President Bush eliminated this morally bankrupt manual, Obama resuscitated it.
The manual is billed to provide choices for our defenders of Freedom; hogwash, the manual was provided by an organization promoting euthanasia. Why? Because it is cheaper to kill the wounded than to treat them.
(b) No sooner than Obamacare passed the House by five freakin' votes a U.S. government panel commissioned to research quality healthcare recommended that women delay getting regular mammograms until age 50. This is in opposition of the American Cancer Society.
Not only does the federal panel desire to stop providing preventative screening for breast cancer they urge women to STOP performing SELF breast exams at home.
It doesn't stop at breast cancer screenings, it continues with screenings for cervical cancer!
On the heels of the federal panel, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOG) says women in their 20s can have a pap smear every two years, instead of annually.
I will spare you my own heartbreaking stories regarding the women I love because I am sure you have your own stories and can recognize the DANGERS here.
Why is this happening? Because it is cheaper to diagnose the cancer in the later stages and euthanize the victims as opposed to treat the cancer with expensive surgery and chemo.
(c) Obamacare will cut millions in Medicare, eliminate Medicare Advantage and reduce reimbursements to physicians, which will cause rationing. Obama openly questioned the value of the hip replacement surgery his own terminally ill grandmother received.
Obama's alternative care for the elderly is a PC effort to treat our grandparents like Old Yeller. It is not hysteria when it is said people will die because of Obamacare.
Folks, stop allowing Obama to exploit those less fortunate than us. Reject this anti-American healthcare bill and demand ADEQUATE healthcare reform. The Republicans were too weak to get it done, that doesn't mean we must settle for crap.
Additionally, if you choose not to insure yourself, you will be criminally penalized. For the first time in American history, you will be FORCED to buy a federally promoted product. We are one goosestep closer to losing our Freedoms.
Second: Terror trials in NYC
Obama's decision to bring 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) who was captured ON THE BATTLEFIELD, to trial in NYC is simply a way to put us (America) on trial. It also gives a terrorist that wishes to destroy us a platform to spew his anti-American hate.
The Obamas and Wrights must be giddy that they are able to pull this off. Shameful! And shameful if the American people are still blind to Obama's antics.
Obama is breaking Patriotic & legal precedent to afford KSM with our Constitutional protection. Obama is doing so in the shadows of the WTC because Ground Zero is hallowed ground and this is how Obama can get away with spitting on it.
Just like Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, William Ayers and so many of his surroundings, Obama must have bought into the notion that we are to blame for 9/11 and that the terrorists were justified.
KSM proclaimed his guilt and was willing to accept his fate (death penalty) at a military tribunal. Obama rejected that and desires a circus in Manhattan. Why is Obama risking life in prison or worse acquittal for KSM? The answer is obvious; Obama's choice is the Wrightchoice!
Folks, this is an American problem. While the latest terrorist was gunning down women & children at Fort Hood he wasn‘t asking how we voted, he was screaming “Allah Akubar.”
These are the people (terrorists) your president is urging us to use restraint for, while not passing judgment. This is the same president and administration that simply called Nidal Malik Hasan a “gunman” but easily labeled YOU “extremist” for complaining about radical policies.

On 11/05/09, America suffered another attack by a Muslim terrorist. This latest jihad was perpetrated by an American army major stationed inside of Fort Hood, Texas. Within hours of the shooting, the identity of Major Nidal Malik Hasan was revealed along with his Islamic extremism and anti-American views.
The National Media downplayed the significance of the attack, the commander in chief gave shout-outs to a medicine man and the nation was lulled back to sleep. As the nation dozed and grazed, spin masters and professors of political correctness morphed Maj. Hasan from perpetrator to victim.

Some pundits and analysts have suggested that Major Hasan may have post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of two active wars. In order to buy into that notion one will have to believe that PTSD is contagious and/or can be contracted via osmosis. Remember, Maj. Hasan never went to war and is a trained psychiatrist.
A Harvard professor even equated radical Islam to Christian conservatives. The hypocrisy of the president is noted when he preached caution from a rush to judgment. Obama's message is a sound one, but the duplicitous nature of the president belies his intent (or does it?)

Major Hasan attempted to contact Al-Qaeda and was the subject of an investigation, but apparently, it was above everyone’s pay grade to confront this evil and remove him from the ranks. PC kills.
Despite an understanding of the dangers political correctness may facilitate, it can still be disheartening to witness fellow Americans perpetuate the PC myth.
Different schools of thought ponder if we (the American people, the victims) are to blame via 'racial profiling' or 'insensitivity', or if the government is running a false flag op and the CIA is really behind the terror attack(s), or that the terrorist is simply a misunderstood victim of war(s) and of course the ol' stand-by; it's Bush's fault.
What is clear in the above schools of thought is the shooter is not to blame. Sometimes folks, there is indeed a bad guy that needs to be dealt with. Another thing that is clear is that the actual victims are negated and heroes are not recognized. No victims = No crime, No Heroes = No emergency.
Meet one such hero; Police Sergeant Kimberly Munley. Kimberly Munley is a mother of two and a civilian police officer assigned to Fort Hood.
Sgt. Munley responded to the soldiers’ call for help and stopped the terror attack by Nidal Malik Hasan. Prior to Sgt Munley’s arrival Hasan’s carnage resulted in 13 deaths and 31 wounded. A list of the casualties can be read here.
In a testament to the American spirit, on 11/05/09 at Fort Hood Texas, our Defenders of Freedom put it all on the line once again and rose to the occasion. During the threat and after, our heroes rushed in to save the lives of the wounded, including that of the terrorist.
Nidal Malik Hasan woke up in a hospital room after receiving the best of healthcare and immediately lawyered-up. Welcome to America.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, the national security adviser (NSA) for former President Jimmy Carter and top foreign policy adviser during the presidential campaign for Senator Obama, calls for the current administration to shoot down Israeli jets in defense of Iran.
In light of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's consistent and persistent calls of "Death to Israel" and the revelation that Iran has a secret nuclear facility (which wasn’t so secret) the interview questions are valid.
Keeping in mind that an Israeli attack on Iran would require Israeli jets to fly over coalition airspace in Iraq, read the following excerpt of the interview:
DB: How aggressive can Obama be in insisting to the Israelis that a military strike might be in America’s worst interest?
Brzezinski: We are not exactly impotent little babies. They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?
DB: What if they fly over anyway?
Brzezinski: Well, we have to be serious about denying them that right. That means a denial where you aren’t just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a Liberty in reverse.
The Liberty was a U.S. ship in international waters in the Middle East during the Six-Day War in 1967 that was hit by Israeli gunfire. The incident remains a controversial one and the US and Israel both maintain it was a tragic accident.
For Brzezinski to advise the US to confront Israel in a manner that would prompt the shooting upon an ally is highly irresponsible to say the least, but may provide a glimpse into the dark heart of Carter's former NSA.
Brzezinski advised Carter on confrontations in Iran, Afghanistan and the Middle East. How did that work out for us? Brzezinski's current advice to shoot down Israeli jets will not be followed; it will only serve as additional evidence of his disdain for Israel. There, however, remains a more important question.
We are rich in history and as such, we have the benefit of hindsight. History is usually interesting but always relevant. So, why on this spontaneously combusted green earth would Barack Obama seek the advice of Zbigniew Brzezinski? That is the bigger question.
It should be clear by now that Barack Obama has a penchant for the fringe and radical element of society, which includes domestic terrorists and anti-Zionists. Unfortunately, the ugliness of that truth prompts Americans to do the ostrich. Burying ones head in the sand is not a luxury watchdogs and/or patriots can afford.
It can no longer be considered a coincidence that our 44th president has ties with anti-Americans and other radicals. It can no longer be considered a coincidence that Obama's staff or lapse in judgment prompted the recruitment of those that run counter to American ideals.
Shamefully, there are many currently serving in Obama's administration that should never be a whispers distance to our president. One: for safety reasons and Two: heaven forbid these people were in a position to advise our commander in chief; sadly, they are.
This article may serve to highlight the reckless desires of Zbigniew Brzezinski, but more importantly it highlights the judgment of our current president.

I have learned an awful amount from Dr. Brzezinski as well. Enough to know I wouldn't ask him directions to the grocery store, forget about advice on foreign policy matters.
Look for this administration to distance themselves from Brzezinski, if not outright throw him under the bus. In closing, I will leave you with this question: Isn't that bus (or at least under it) getting pretty crowded?
Is there ugly rhetoric in the current debate surrounding healthcare? You betcha! And it should not be condoned. I believe it is immature to justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior. This content is not going to do that, what it will do is illustrate the hypocrisy of the left, namely Nancy Pelosi.
Madam Speaker had this to say, "I think we have to take responsibility for our action and words." You can view the emotional address here. Pelosi continued by referring to the "late '70s in San Francisco. This kind of rhetoric was very frightening...it created a climate in which violence took place." A reference to the murders of Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist.
Her statement in of itself is a sound one. Savvy onlookers, however, know what is under that plastic mask. Pelosi's cautionary tale along with recent cries of racism is the new bat wielded by the left. It serves to scare the opposition into silence. Listen people, opposing the POTUS is not a hate crime.
In all fairness, fancy Nancy did not call out any Republicans during her emotional performance. Later that same day the House Speaker did send out a fundraising letter, in which she could no longer contain herself.
In her letter, Pelosi accuses the opponents of "health-insurance reform" (note the name change) of cynical name calling and waging "false attacks on President Obama."
"I think we have to take responsibility for our actions and words." Oh, really Madam Speaker? Are you and yours ready to take responsibility of and for the following:

For the sake of brevity, I'll stop this list consisting of, uh, to borrow Pelosi's words, "Rhetoric that is frightening." What is egregious about this list of ten insults are that it is uttered by our elected officials and hurled at the American people.
Any forthcoming apology from Pelosi and her team's glaring lack of decorum? Didn't think so.

My travels have taken me to that seedy side of Nevins Street where ACORN (house of ill repute?) sits. Let me tell ya, prostitutes of Giles quality does not exist.
The illustrious former governor of NY, Elliot Spitzer, paid over five grand for time spent with a comely "escort" that was not of Giles caliber. It is obvious that pure greed is the root of the ACORN tree. Greed and political expediency to that end trumps even their own street savvy.
Is your ideology trumping your good sense? Is the close affiliation to Barack Obama preventing you from seeing why this community organization should not be the recipient of public funds? When is enough, enough?
James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles are emerging as American heroes. They are doing what the "true" investigative journalists are not. They are exposing a corrupt organization that is ripping us off to the tune of millions and potentially billions of dollars.
The MSM does not have the stomach to go after Barack Obama's pet organization, which is another example of ideology trumping ethical standards. If this were a GOP front, the MSM would be all over this; like spit(zer) on a hooker's pillowcase.
ACORN like Van Jones, is it me or does Barack Obama have some cool friends, played the victim role and blamed FOX, Republicans and racism. After the Baltimore sting netted a pair of ACORNs, a top official of that outfit stated they have plans to sue O'Keefe, Giles, and the FOX network. Why FOX? Because they had the audacity to report this mess.
Baltimore City's top prosecutor even issued a threatening statement boasting of possible charges against O'Keefe and Giles. The prosecutor, Patricia Jessamy, is a Barack Obama supporter, surprise, surprise.
In the Brooklyn nuthouse, ACORN officials advised the two criminals appearing before them to squirrel away their ill-gotten proceeds. "When you buy the house with a back yard, you get a tin and bury it down in there, and you put the money right in, and you put grass over it, and you don't tell a single soul but yourself where it is"
The streetwalker and her man posing undercover, that is undercover, not under the covers people, entered the Brooklyn office with the idea of purchasing a house to operate a brothel. The brothel will house underage children to work as prostitutes. ACORN was more than willing to help establish this criminal enterprise.
What is particularly troubling is that ACORN and its friends, i.e. the POTUS and Patricia Jessamy who happens to be president of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center, claim to be for the youth, the community, and the downtrodden. Those groups are hurt the most by this corruption and complicity by the "powers that be." Where is the outrage, folks?
Democratic Representative John Conyers was called off investigating ACORN. Conyers claims, "The powers that be called [him] off." Even Barney Frank reversed his stance to deny ACORN public funds.
Perhaps, the ACORN nuts exposed by O’Keefe and Giles does not bother Barney Frank. After all, the Washington Times reported that Frank’s Capitol Hill apartment was operating a real life prostitution ring, where his gay lover was performing...let’s just say a public service.
Baltimore City's State Attorney, Patricia Jessamy may prosecute James O'Keefe for exposing ACORN employees in an undercover sting. That sting operation, which James O'Keefe posed as a pimp and Hanna Giles posed as a prostitute revealed some very disturbing footage about corruption inside of ACORN.
On Thursday, the undercover operatives armed with a hidden camera walked into an ACORN office in Baltimore City, MD. The man (pimp) and woman (prostitute) ask about buying a house (brothel) and how to account on tax forms for the woman's income. An ACORN employee advises the woman to list her occupation as "performance artist."
ACORN fired the two employees. Less than 24-hours later, in Washington DC a similar sting netted more ACORN employees. The DC employees were also fired. Clearly, there is a systemic problem regarding ACORN.
Rep. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, called for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style "protection" racket.
Conyers abruptly reversed the decision to investigate and claimed, "The powers that be decided against it." Mr. Conyers will not elaborate.
Patricia Jessamy, Baltimore's top prosecutor, who ironically happens to be president of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center, became aware of ACORN conspiring with a pimp and a prostitute to exploit Hispanic children in a prostitution ring. Wonderful, Jessamy is the right person to bring justice forward! Think again folks, the prosecutor's office had this to say:
Baltimore, MD – September 11, 2009 – We have received inquiries from citizens and the media asking whether the Baltimore City State’s Attorneys Office would initiate a criminal investigation for acts allegedly committed at ACORN offices located in Baltimore. The only information received in reference to this alleged criminal behavior was a YouTube video. Upon review by this office, the video appears to be incomplete. In addition, the audio portion could possibly have been obtained in violation of Maryland Law, Annotated Code of Maryland Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article §10-402, which requires two party consent.
If it is determined that the audio portion now being heard on YouTube was illegally obtained, it is also illegal under Maryland Law to willfully use or willfully disclose the content of said audio. The penalty for the unlawful interception, disclosure or use of it is a felony punishable up to 5 years.
No word if ACORN was threatened with any probes. Patricia Jessamy is clearly allowing her ideology to trump her dedication to abused children.
What an Obamanation! You see, Jessamy is a huge Barack Obama supporter, Obama is a huge ACORN fan and vise versa. It's all in the family, Chicago style.
Barack Obama was a community organizer in Project Vote and served as ACORN's lawyer. He also funneled more than $800,000 to ACORN during the campaign and ACORN endorsed Obama in the primary.
We are in the Bizarro world, where the POTUS calls off investigations of voter fraud and other illegalities when it is perpetrated by ACORN and the Black Panthers, but gives the wink and nod to go after the CIA.
In the same crazy world, ACORN's Maryland top official had this to say, "We believe our country is beyond this type of attack and call on all Americans to demand that FOX stop its RACIST coverage."
The race card again! I can understand blasting FOX; after all, they are the only network with the cajones to go after Obama's peeps, but racist!?
ACORN was caught on tape advising how to shield a criminal enterprise where Hispanic girls would have been placed in a child prostitution ring. And FOX is racist for reporting it!?!
Folks, At least $53 million in federal funds have gone to ACORN and Barack Obama could funnel $8.5 billion more tax dollars to them, despite being under investigation for voter registration fraud in a dozen states.
Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-MN, wants to stop the flow of tax dollars to ACORN. On a voice vote, Barney Frank agreed but like Conyers, he had a sudden change of heart and said it was a mistake to vote yes. Frank now plans to offer another amendment to the bill on the House floor that would allow non-profits that have been indicted to receive grants.
Whether the POTUS fires Van Jones or asks for his resignation shouldn't even be a question in America. The fact that we are debating such a thing is evidence of our sorry state of affairs. A self-avowed radical Communist should not have made it to the White House, be it by appointment or election.
The watchdogs are being outnumbered and the wolves are taking over. Have faith fellow Americans, for the sons and daughters of the Greatest Generation are among us and will save our sorry butts, from ourselves.

The troubling details that have emerged calls into question not only the Marxist ideals of the Green Jobs Czar, but more importantly, it continues to expose Barack Obama's penchant for radical and anti-American affiliations.
You may have not grasped the gravity of or cared about Obama's 20+ year affiliation with Jeremiah Wright, or his association with William Ayers, Tony Rezko and others, but Barack Obama is no longer the candidate he is the president. We cannot afford the luxury of burying our head in the sand, no matter how blissful.
Van Jones was appointed by Barack Obama in March 2009, as the Special Adviser for Green Jobs, also known as the Green Jobs Czar. This was with the blessings of his Senior Adviser and close friend, Valerie Jarrett.
White House Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about the fate of Van Jones and simply replied, "He continues to work for this administration."
Member of the board of Apollo Alliance, one of the founders is also a close Obama associate, Jesse Jackson Jr. The NY affiliate is headed by domestic terrorist, Jeff Jones. Jeff Jones founded the Weathermen with Bill Ayers.

Most of us are aware of the controversy surrounding the recent town hall meetings where various representatives show up to discuss healthcare reform. The Democrats did not anticipate the passionate rejection of Obamacare. The American people were not buying.
President Obama, a great campaigner and orator as long as the teleprompter is working, appeared before us and could not quite sell it either. Barack Obama the campaigner just met Barack Obama the President.
What did our illustrious leaders do? They started a smear campaign against the American people. Nancy Pelosi and her minions began to claim that the grassroots effort of the people were instead Astroturf; a cool way of saying the backlash is contrived.
Barney Frank appeared courageous if not justified by telling a woman at a recent Massachusetts town hall meeting, “Trying to have a conversation with you would be like trying to argue with a dining room table.” This was in response to the woman asking Frank, "Why do you continue to support a Nazi policy?"
The Nazi policy was a reference to Obamacare. The woman was also holding an image of Obama wearing a Hitler moustache.
They (Obama, Pelosi, Barney Frank, MSNBC, et al) want to mislead us into believing our neighbors and our senior citizens are not concerned. They float out the notion that we are being fed myths and lies by FOX and Tea Party organizers. They want the nation to believe that it is angry hordes of conservatives showing up at town hall meetings with Hitlerized posters of Obama.

The LA Times reported that Firas Alkhateeb, a 20-year old Chicago, Illinois University student created the now (in) famous Joker image of Barack Obama. Alkhateeb, bored during a winter recess began tinkering with the popular Photoshop software and Jokerized an image of the president's face. Alkhateeb posted the image on Flickr, a photo-sharing site.
Ironically, the White House utilizes Flickr as a hosting site for its official images, which are available for public use. Alkhateeb, used the October 23, 2006 cover of Times magazine, which featured then Senator Barack Obama, as the template for his Joker image. An unknown visitor to Flickr modified the image by eliminating the Time magazine graphics and added the caption, "Socialism." Copies of the new version were plastered around L.A., becoming a springboard for liberal pundits to jump all over the opposition.
The LA Weekly, which depicted George Bush as Dracula on its cover in 2004, denounced the Obama-Joker image. The incensed LA Weekly writer even added, "The only thing missing is a noose." The writer further blasted Conservatives and the FOX news network.
Many on the left including those caught up in the racial divide, unsuspectingly furthered by President Obama's rhetoric, are fanning the flames. Flames stirred by race-arsonists, hyperbolic pundits and the Pelosi team.
Some are claiming that the term "Socialism" if applied to Barack Obama is now a code word for the “N-word.” Normal discourse is now degenerating into a race war. How did our capacity to reason become so easily hijacked? What happened to the hope of unity?
It was expected (falsely?) that unity might be attained if not further sustained by the nation's first black president. It is ironic if not sad that the chasm of the racial divide is deepened mainly by the Obama supporters, if not the president himself.
These allegations of racism, being hurled around quicker than a drunken fist, are not honest attempts at exposing bigotry. Instead, it is an ugly attempt to win an argument by scaring your opponent into silence. The most demonizing label outside of a pedophile is a racist. If a person wishing to maintain a public presence is successfully maligned, his or her voice will be effectively silenced.
In a MSNBC segment called the C-Note, host Carlos Watson offered, "whether or not 'socialist' is becoming the new N-word for frankly... for some angry upset birthers and others."
During a recent FOX episode, Sean Hannity and Frank Luntz hosted a town hall styled gathering. An attendee mirrored that MSNBC sentiment and stated, "words like 'un-American,' 'socialism,' that you use, Sean, I think it's really code word for it's the new N-word."
The dangerous result of such dramatic recklessness is the boy-who-cried-wolf syndrome and when actual racism rears its ugly head, we may all be blind to it...except the victim of course.
The double standard also extends to how we treat the person(s) leveling false accusations of racism. Where is the same level of consternation when the race card is illegitimately thrown around by the left and even the president? Folks, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig.
Firas Alkhateeb claims he was making no political statement with his artwork. Alkhateeb, born in the United States says his Palestinian family closely follows Middle Eastern politics. He opined that Barack Obama is doing a better job than Bush and admitted fear of having a perceived anti-Obama stance in Chicago.
Mr. Alkhateeb did not vote and stated Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich would be his choice.
It should be an interesting analysis by MSNBC and the boy-who-cried-wolf crowd regarding the racial and political component of the Obama-Joker image since the creator of it has been unmasked. If we are going to have a conversation about race, or anything for that matter, let it be an honest one.
AARP has clearly expressed the need for healthcare reform. Many Americans agree that there is room for improvement in our current healthcare system. Many of us are either directly affected or know someone that is affected by inadequate insurance.
Health is directly related to happiness, life and death. The prospect of not receiving adequate healthcare is a scary notion and to some a reality. Politicians thrive on such fears and exploit the same.
Our healthcare should not be determined by political ideology. A wise man once told me the difference between the way things are and the way they should be would drive a sensitive person crazy.
AARP's position appears to be dubious if not duplicitous; one thing for sure is it's confusing as is the president's 1,017-page manifesto. AARP, formerly known as the American Association of Retired Persons, is currently a large player in the insurance industry.
In 2008, AARP was added to the Medicare Advantage plan, which is privately run insurance subsidized by the government. The government reimburses Medicare Advantage at a higher rate, an average of 12 percent, than it does Medicare's traditional fee-for-service program. [1]
In July, AARP organized a town hall meeting in order for the president to pitch his plan from a friendly platform. AARP does not have a PAC and can posit itself as non-partisan. However, Barry Rand the CEO of AARP donated $8,900 to Obama and even more to the Democrats. [2]
If anyone is half paying attention it is obvious that AARP is a left oriented organization and as a major player in the insurance game stands to make some serious coin with an Obama health plan.
Barack Obama was confident he had AARP's support. So confident that during an August 11, New Hampshire town hall meeting he strolled out and boldly proclaimed, "we have the AARP onboard because they know this is a good deal for our seniors. AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare."
AARP immediately responded by stating, "indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate." To claim that your ally is “inaccurate” about your alliance is strong language to say the least and indicates a clear dysfunction of the plan.
So what happened? We happened folks and despite the disparaging remarks by Pelosi and her clowns, the American people appropriately responded to Obamacare.
Dissension is the hallmark of Freedom, not just when liberals dissent, but when every American has a right to express their voice. The people are rejecting Obamacare, which should not be confused with adequate healthcare.
Customers ripped up their membership cards in response to AARP's perceived endorsement of Obamacare. The customers’ response resounded effectively and as a result, AARP pulled the plug on its support of Obama's plan. Money talks...you know the rest.

Barack Obama is in a wonderful position to rescue healthcare and emerge as a hero, all he has to do is start listening to the folks. Healthcare is an important issue that past administrations did not adequately address. The Obama administration can truly change America, for the better.

Sonia Sotomayor was sworn-in on Saturday, August 08, 2009 as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. On September 08, she will be "invested as a member of the Court" in a special session of the Supreme Court. The swearing-in on Saturday by Chief Justice John Roberts allows her to prepare as an Associate Justice.
Sonia Sotomayor is the 111th Supreme Court justice, the first Latina and third woman in the 220-year SCOTUS history. Folks, history is on a roll. Forgive me if I don't get all warm and fuzzy here, but making history simply for history's sake does not by default mean it will be positive; remember not all history is good history.
At approximately 1100 hours, Chief Justice Roberts administered two oaths to Sonia Sotomayor. The first oath was a more private one and standard for all federal employees, who swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
The second oath is the judicial oath and took place in the court’s East Conference Room, where cameras were allowed to record the event. That oath under the Constitution and laws of the United States is where Sotomayor swore to “administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me.”
All Freedom loving Patriots will hope that Justice Sotomayor will adhere to her oaths and has grown from the folly of her judicial activism and rhetoric displaying a degree of racial animus.
In addition to the controversy of her suggestion that a wise Latina would make better decisions than a white man, Sotomayor's more famous, or rather infamous, decision as an appellate court justice was her ruling against The New Haven 20.
In 2005, while addressing student law clerks Sotomayor revealed her judicial activism by saying, "court of appeals is where policy is made." She then immediately added, "And I know — I know this is on tape, and I should never say that because we don't make law. I know. O.K. I know. I'm not promoting it. I'm not advocating it. I'm — you know."
Brace yourselves; Barack Obama may conceivably make three or more Supreme Court appointments during his first term. If Obama's brief history is any indication, we know he has a penchant for the radical.
Sonia Sotomayor replaced the retiring David Souter. In addition to Souter, Justices Ginsberg, 76, and Stevens, 89 may retire.
This year, making history is chic right long with American Idol and fawning over morally corrupt celebrities. Politics is certainly not an area where one will find moral fortitude, however, it is disappointing when a SCOTUS appointment is confirmed via political expedience over what is best for the nation.
Republican Senators facing reelection know that their constituents will expect them to honor their base and the principle of country first. All 12 Republican Senators facing reelection voted against Sotomayor.
With the Democrats in power, Sotomayor was easily confirmed by sixty-eight Senators to thirty-one. 57:58 Democrats voted yes, while Sen. Kennedy suffering from cancer did not vote. Sen. Sanders of Vermont and Sen. Lieberman of Connecticut, both Independents that caucus with the Democrats voted for confirmation.

Remember that cool new government program that promised 3,500 - 4,500 bucks for your old gas-guzzler to be used for the purchase or lease of a new vehicle? That program, Cash for Clunkers, sank quicker than...well... an Oldsmobile in the Chappaquiddick.
On the surface, this seems like a pretty good idea. An incentive to buy, stimulate the economy, and even help the environment by getting rid of old clunkers for more fuel-efficient cars. You better get Maaco baby, because the rusty truth is showing up big time.
Let's take a look at this government-induced boondoggle.
There had been a $1 billion budget for rebates for new car sales in the program. It went bankrupt after the first week. In addition to a failed government plan, the flawed economics is simply this, we are subsidizing taxpayers with taxpayer money. That is not going to help our (USA's) net worth.
OK, so what, it's our money, why should the fat cats benefit and not us? The simplicity and emotions behind that is what drove so many folks to the car dealer. I am not saying you should have stayed home. But don't candy-apple coat it folks, you are going down to get a piece of a new welfare program paid for by the taxpayer.
Additionally, there is something fundamentally wrong with destroying vehicles that are still viable while increasing more debt. This will not earn us any A-pluses in economics-101. Whatever, get while the getting is good.
As per the government, "the program requires the scrapping of your eligible trade-in vehicle, and that the dealer disclose to you an estimate of the scrap value of your trade-in."- cars.gov
The Wall Street Journal summed it up this way, "By this logic, everyone should burn the sofa and dining room set and refurnish the homestead every couple of years."
This program very well may be a shot in the arm, almost like a hit on the ol' turbo boost, it will get you there fast, but in the long run it will cost you more money and make you run out of gas quicker; yeah I know, but the ride was fun.
Secondly, the bankruptcy of this program should sound off like an old-fashioned Mac truck air horn. How on God's green earth, pardon me, let me re-phrase that for my more PC readers; how on this spontaneously combusted green earth can you expect this government to run health care or crap & trade, when they can't even manage to run Cash for Clunkers?
Lastly, certainly not least, in fact the most important aspect of this failed policy is how the government is driving this program head on into Freedom. This Cash for Clunkers program has a dangerous stipulation when you or the car dealer logs onto the government's web site.
That stipulation was publicized by Glenn Beck and below is the video explaining it. I implore you to check it out and afterward reflect on all those complaints about the Patriot Act.
The feds tell us, "Consumers should expect that all information collected through the CARS Program will be kept confidential. Social Security numbers are not required for a CARS transaction." - cars.gov. BUT, what they are not telling you is this:
"This application provides to the DoT CARS system. When logged on to the CARS system, YOUR COMPUTER is considered a FEDERAL COMPUTER SYSTEM AND IT IS PROPERTY OF THE United States Government, any and all uses of this system and ALL FILES on this system may be INTERCEPTED, MONITORED, RECORDED, COPIED, AUDITED, INSPECTED, and DISCLOSED to authorized CARS, DoT and law enforcement personnel, as well as authorized officials of other agencies, BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN." (Emphasis my own)
The House just approved $2B more for Cash for Clunkers. Oh, I forgot it is the program formerly known as Cash for Clunkers. Yes, the Obamacracy as with many pop icons changed its name; it is now officially dubbed the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS).
