Obama to Fire Van Jones?

Whether the POTUS fires Van Jones or asks for his resignation shouldn't even be a question in America. The fact that we are debating such a thing is evidence of our sorry state of affairs. A self-avowed radical Communist should not have made it to the White House, be it by appointment or election.

The watchdogs are being outnumbered and the wolves are taking over. Have faith fellow Americans, for the sons and daughters of the Greatest Generation are among us and will save our sorry butts, from ourselves.

"[Van Jones'] extremist views and coarse rhetoric have no place in this administration or the public debate."- Rep. Mike Pence, R-IN.

Why aren't the major news outlets and scores of Representatives on both sides of the aisle reporting and/or calling for the resignation of Anthony "Van" Jones?

The troubling details that have emerged calls into question not only the Marxist ideals of the Green Jobs Czar, but more importantly, it continues to expose Barack Obama's penchant for radical and anti-American affiliations.

You may have not grasped the gravity of or cared about Obama's 20+ year affiliation with Jeremiah Wright, or his association with William Ayers, Tony Rezko and others, but Barack Obama is no longer the candidate he is the president. We cannot afford the luxury of burying our head in the sand, no matter how blissful.

Van Jones was appointed by Barack Obama in March 2009, as the Special Adviser for Green Jobs, also known as the Green Jobs Czar. This was with the blessings of his Senior Adviser and close friend, Valerie Jarrett.

White House Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about the fate of Van Jones and simply replied, "He continues to work for this administration."

What on Van Jones' résumé could have attracted Barack Obama? Let's examine a few nuggets:

• Member of the board of Apollo Alliance, one of the founders is also a close Obama associate, Jesse Jackson Jr. The NY affiliate is headed by domestic terrorist, Jeff Jones. Jeff Jones founded the Weathermen with Bill Ayers.

• Founder and leader of the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM).

• Co-founded Ella Baker Human Rights Center. His adviser was Elizabeth Martinez, a Maoist and board member of Movement for a Democratic Society, alongside terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn.

• Advocated for a nationwide "resistance" against police, accusing them of using the 9/11 attacks to carry out policies of torture.

• Founded the Bay Area Cop Watch. More on organized anti-police activities here.

• Supporter of Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal, a convicted cop killer. Obama's Green Jobs Czar even disrupted a special youth conference in Oakland, CA to rally for Mumia.

"I met all these young radical people of color, I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And I was, like, this is what I need to be a part of. I spent the next 10-years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary" -Anthony "Van" Jones, special adviser to the president of the United States.

The president's special adviser also joined ranks with "9/11 Truthers" alleging that the Bush administration was complicit in the terrorist attacks.

Shouldn't they be giving Bush a fist bump over such a maneuver? I am surprised the terrorist embracing radicals would complain about such a conspiracy, oh right I get it...they have the copyright on anti-American crimes.

Not convinced the Green Jobs Czar embraces Marxism? Van Jones reportedly named his son after Marxist revolutionary Amilcar Cabral.

The Obama administration is top-heavy with radicals, more on that in a follow-up article. In the meant time call the White House and demand the removal of one, Anthony Van Jones.

Crap and Trade

With the birth of an Obamanation the second amendment becomes an even more attractive target, health care is close to being socialized and Cap & Trade is a euphemism for oppressive taxation.

A quick look at the numbers for this Cap & Trade fiasco will reveal that your average American will get hosed at the gas pump, may want to read their electric bill with the lights out and watch their jobs sail away to overseas corporations. Oh, let's not forget about the polar bears or the planet, no help there either.

There are many credible organizations, such as the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Brookings Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and even the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that detail the cost and ineffectiveness of Cap & Trade. I implore the folks to turn the pages for themselves and asses by fact.

How about our European neighbors, how has Cap & Trade been working for them?

According to an investigative report by the London Bureau of BusinessWeek, Europe's CO2 output actually rose 1.1%. An in depth analysis published in the Washington Post delves into Europe's issues with Cap & Trade. Let's take a look:

Business

Kollo Holding's factory in the Netherlands is a silicon carbide maker that calls itself the greenest such plant in the world, but now can't afford to run full-time. Europe's program has driven electricity prices so high that the facility routinely shuts down for part of the day to save money on power.

Although demand for its products is strong, the plant has laid off 40 of its 130 employees and trimmed production. Two customers have turned to cheaper imports from China, which is not covered by Europe's costly regulations.

French cement workers may lose jobs to Morocco, which doesn't have to meet the European guidelines. Four-hundred cement workers protested a license for a rival company that plans to take advantage of Europe's system for controlling greenhouse gases by circumventing it. The rival wants to import material from Morocco, where factories don't have to pay to emit carbon gas.

Residents

German homeowners pay 25 percent more for electricity, even as their utility companies earn record profits.

[Landlords will pass increased heating and electric costs to tenants. Workers across the continent face the prospect of losing their jobs to foreign facilities that aren't required to follow Cap & Trade standards. When the price of electricity, gas, and operating costs rise everyone will feel the hit, from heating your homes, driving to work, or paying for transportation to get to work and/or play.]

Environment

[In addition to Europe's CO2 output rising by 1.1%] Europe's cap-and-trade system has done little to reduce output at such places as the Janschwalde coal plant, [located near the village of Janschwalde in Brandenburg on the German-Polish border] Europe's third-biggest carbon dioxide emitter. Each year, it spews more than 25 million tons of carbon dioxide; half of its output can power all of Berlin.

Remember that cement plant in Dannes, France and the prospect of them losing their jobs to a Moroccan plant?

The Moroccan plant may produce even more carbon dioxide than the one in Dannes. "This is going the wrong way from an environmental point of view," Vincent Bichet, Director General, Dannes.

Back in the U.S., Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi and other Obama elites are pushing for similar Crap & Trade policies. Rest assured it will be like chum to the sharks, the lobbyists and enviro-arsonists are already circling.

It is my firm belief that we should all be good shepherds of the earth. The current Cap & Trade system will do nothing for the planet and is only green in the sense that it will remove the green from your wallet and plant it into the accounts of the fat-cats.
