Muslims Riot over Safety Rules at Rye Playland

The radical group Muslim American Society (MAS) organized a trip to Rye Playland in NY to celebrate a religious holiday known as Id al-Fitr, or the end of Ramadan. MAS expected 3,000 attendees.

MAS has strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood group and was founded as that group’s United States Chapter. The Muslim Brotherhood in addition to desiring the introduction of Shariah as the basis of controlling the affairs of state and society is considered the ideological underpinning of almost all modern Sunni-Islamic terror groups.

When discussing Hamas, Al Qaeda and Islamic Jihad, Richard Clarke, the chief counter-terrorism adviser on the U.S. National Security Council under Presidents Clinton and Bush, stated “The common link here is the extremist Muslim Brotherhood- all of these organizations are descendants of the membership and ideology of the Muslim Brothers;”additional reading here.

Back to the Playland, the Muslims became angered that park employees were enforcing the safety rules prohibiting the women from wearing their traditional head coverings known as hijabs on some rides.

Note: not all rides, some rides. Additionally, Parks officials met with MAS organizers prior to the event and “painstakingly” told them about the headgear ban.

In a Lower Hudson Valley online report, the ban was implemented about four years ago to keep hats and other head coverings from landing on tracks and derailing rides. Deputy Parks Commissioner Peter Tartaglia also noted, “It’s a safety issue on rides. If it’s a scarf, you could choke.”

Playland's policies, posted on its website, include: "All items and clothing must be appropriately secured while on a ride; some smaller items can be stored/secured in cargo pockets or waist pouches. Hats must be secured, and jackets/sweaters must be worn properly and not around the waist while on a ride. Some rides do not allow backpacks, purses or head gear of any kind."

In a NY Times report, Ola Salem, 17, of Coney Island, Brooklyn, was visiting with the group to celebrate the Muslim holiday and wasn’t able to go on a ride because of her head scarf. “They said no because of my “head gear,” Ms. Salem said. “I said, It’s not my head gear, it’s my religion.”

Ironically, the religious folks in the park did not see the sin of disrupting, rioting and failing to follow simple safety guidelines. This mindset is familiar with the adherents of Shariah Law and radical groups such as MAS and the Muslim Brotherhood that justify jihad and terror.

Ms. Salem demanded a supervisor and was presented with a list of rides that would require her to remove her scarf. More than a dozen of the park’s rides, she said, were on the list.

It went downhill from there. Tempers flared, MAS members became unruly, violent and even began to fight amongst themselves. Officers were injured, a large police response was required and the park was shut down for regular visitors. Fifteen people were arrested.

It defies logic and basic decency that anyone, especially a ‘religious’ group, would balk over an amusement park attempting to keep riders safe by prohibiting head scarves on rides. The officials at Rye Playland were so reasonable they didn’t implement a park wide policy of such a ban, but according to the one young Muslim lady…the park enforced this rule for only a dozen or so rides and presented a handout naming all the rides.

The officials even told the group’s leaders of the restrictions prior to their arrival!

Ahmed Jamil, who booked the event, said park guests should be allowed to wear what they choose on their heads. “Those machines,” he said, “they should design them to be safe enough.”

Astounding, but not surprising, that adherents of Shariah would demand and expect a Western facility to “design” amusement park machines in a way to prevent hijabs from flying off heads potentially causing a derailment or choking hazard for the wearer of such garb.

In the lohud.com report, a couple of Muslims from Yonkers even had the gall to complain about the tax dollars spent on the police response…the police response to the riot caused by the Muslims.

In a report by The Daily Greenburgh, friends and family of the 12 men and three women who were arrested said they felt law enforcement had used unnecessary force and were disrespectful in how they treated the women.

Again more irony…the adherents of Shariah Law riot over safety rules and a perception of “disrespect for the women,” but not a peep from them when adherents of Shariah engage in the radical subjugation, mutilation and/or Islamic (dis)honor killings of women!

Before it went into riot mode, Rye Playland tried to offer full refunds in an attempt to de-escalate the situation (One can only wonder if an infidel would have been so accommodated). That was their second mistake, when radicals are appeased they are emboldened.

The first mistake was dealing with and negotiating with MAS.

Ron Paul and the Ground Zero Mosque Issue

A year ago today, Ron Paul called those against the Ground Zero mosque “Sunshine Patriots.” He also said the opposition to the mosque is “about hate and Islamaphobia.”

Ron Paul reduced American Patriots to hateful bigots while serving as an apologist for those that murdered innocents on our soil. Paul speaks of “Islamaphobia” while ignoring Islamofascism.

In Paul’s statement regarding the Ground Zero mosque debate, Paul didn’t mention the innocent victims slaughtered by the adherents of Shariah Law and when he acknowledged the “small portion of radical, angry Islamists that do want to kill us” Ron Paul doesn’t blame the terrorists; instead he questioned the motives of the terrorists by implying that it is our fault that they are murdering us.

There is no doubt that American foreign policy is rife with failures; historically and currently. It is those failures that make a Ron Paul successful because it is those mistakes that men like him exploit.

Exploiting this nation’s poor foreign policy decisions of the past to justify the actions of our current enemies is not only reckless but it is worse than those very failures that are being exploited, for it only serves to embolden the enemy.

What Ron Paul will not mention is that Islam was waging jihad long before there was a failed American foreign policy, long before there was a Bush or Cheney in the White House, in fact long before an America even existed.

When Mohammed the Prophet was marching through Medina and Mecca and slaughtering and subjugating those that refused to convert to Islam, his jihadists were shouting “Allahu Akbar.” They weren’t shouting, “failed foreign policy.”

If Islamic terror is our fault, than one must completely ignore the writings of the Quran and the words of Muslim clerics across the globe.

When adherents of Shariah Law attempted to bring down our towers in 1993, we rolled over and continued our pattern of appeasement. When they finally took our towers down on 9/11/01 in such a grand scale that it will forever be etched in our minds and hearts, we responded more aggressively.

We can talk about the mismanagement of the subsequent wars, the dangers of the Patriot Act and other failed policies and we will be justified in much of the criticism. What is never justified is giving our enemies a pass to continue their attack upon us because at times we were fools and our attempts were inept or corrupt.

Ron Paul speaks of patriotism and cites the 1st amendment in supporting the erection of the Ground Zero mosque. Paul is often thought of as a champion or scholar of our constitution.

A true champion of the Constitution will protect the same from both foreign and domestic enemies. A scholar of the Constitution will have the capability of understanding that the 1st amendment does not give protection to organizations, religious or otherwise, from usurping the Constitution while endeavoring to conquer us.

Ground Zero in NYC is one of the sites where Islamic jihadists destroyed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center (WTC) killing thousands of innocents.

From the rubble of the WTC, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, president of the Cordoba Initiative, called for Islamic dawa and Sharia Law on American soil. In fact, the Cordoba Initiative already has a Sharia Project housed within the building where the mega mosque is to be erected.

The original plan of the Cordoba Initiative was to open the doors of its victory mosque on the tenth-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, but the adherents of Shariah law couldn’t raise enough money to do so.

Sunshine Patriots are those that stand for an ideal when it's easy to stand for an ideal. Is that not what Ron Paul is doing regarding the Ground Zero mosque issue?

It is a difficult task, not an easy one, to address a religious organization’s zeal to harm us, especially when that religion has woven its way into the fabric of our traditions and enjoys the protection of our Constitution.

Hopefully, the Ron Paul Patriots will join adherents of our Constitution to help and support those that took an oath to protect our way of life from both foreign and domestic enemies.

Hero Officers that responded to the 2009 Fort Hood attack lose jobs

FORT HOOD- Statesman reports: “The two Fort Hood civilian police officers, Kimberly Munley and Mark Todd, celebrated as heroes for responding first to the 2009 shooting massacre at this Army post were told recently they would lose their jobs as part of broader military budget cuts.”

However, the government has decided not to discharge the gunman responsible for the massacre allowing Maj. Nidal Hasan to retain his full rank, pay and medical treatment.

Lieutenant General Donald Campbell Jr., the Commander of Fort Hood said at a luncheon he hosted for reporters, "The bottom line is when you cut through everything we are as an army, we have to be fair to him regardless of what we saw or we think we saw or whatever the case may be. It's imperative we maintain the integrity of the court martial so he gets as fair a shot as possible defending himself with his team.”

In other developments, with seemingly no concern for budget constraints or the hero cops that stopped the jihadist, millions are spent on the base.

The commander said, “Work is well underway on a $500 Million new medical center, three new community based medical clinics have opened recently, and Campbell hopes there will soon be a new post exchange in an area similar to a town hall complex. He said the military is also partnering with KISD on plans for a new athletic stadium for high school football and other sports.” The luncheon report concludes, “A new training center is in the planning, and the Army wants to make sure it has the facilities and programs in place to absorb thousands of soldiers coming back to Texas. They include behavioral health, re-integration training based on need, and taking care of families in the Ft. Hood community so the nation's largest military installation can be prepared for growth.”

Campbell called it a "season of transition on post, with lots of changes coming."

It’s a shame that the growth & change does not include the two hero officers. When the government offers hope, growth & change…somehow it only exacerbates an already dysfunctional system.

It highlights a system where political correctness aided and abetted the Forth Hood terror attack in 2009, the same system that now justifies in a sense of “fairness” keeping on the payroll a terrorist, a United States Army Major that in his own words described himself as a ‘Soldier of Allah (SoA).’

Our military deserves the best facilities and services money could buy. All of us should support our military with not only our moral support but with our private funds as well as our tax funds…this support should include maintaining the two civilian police officers that answered the call that fateful day in 2009 and valiantly stopped the Fort Hood massacre that killed 13 and injured much more.

Never forget those lost at the hands of this “SoA.” Let us not abandon the defenders of freedom, civilian or otherwise, that continue to put themselves in harm’s way for our safety and comfort.

During third Muslim Radicalization hearing Rep King addresses media over Norway attacks

On Wednesday, July 27, 2011, the Committee on Homeland Security held the third in a series of hearings on domestic radicalization entitled “Al Shabaab: Recruitment and Radicalization within the Muslim American Community and the Threat to the Homeland.”

Prior to concluding the opening comments Rep. Peter King, the Chairman of the committee, addressed the media including the NY Times regarding the Norway killings.

Finally, I note that certain elements of the politically correct media most egregiously the vacuous ideologues at the New York Times are shamelessly attempting to exploit the horrific tragedy in Norway this past Friday to cause me to refocus these hearings away from Muslim-American radicalization.

If they had even a semblance of intellectual honesty the Times and the others would know and admit that there is no equivalency in the threat to our homeland from a deranged gunman and the international terror apparatus of al Qaeda and its affiliates such as al-Shabaab who are recruiting people in this country and have murdered thousands of Americans in their jihad attacks.

Presidential candidate Herman Cain on Sunday defended his opposition to a new mosque in Tennessee, expressing concern about Shariah law and declaring Americans "have the right" to ban mosques in their communities.

Cain, who stirred controversy this year by saying he would be uncomfortable appointing a Muslim to his Cabinet if elected, first expressed concern Thursday about the controversial mosque in Murfreesboro, Tenn. That mosque has been the subject of demonstrations and legal challenges in the wake of the controversy over the so-called "Ground Zero mosque" in New York City.

What have we have learned since the 9/11 attacks?

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, what have we learned?

Well, the nation as a whole has matured a bit politically and culturally. The dangers of Islam, the importance of Patriotism & vigilance are no longer foreign concepts.

Yes, in far too many circles, appeasers and apologists still serve as Useful Idiots for the enemy.

Bush’s words are often repeated to remind us that “We are not at war with Islam.” This may be true, but never forget that by decree, Islam is at war with us.

The terror attacks of September 11, 2001 were not their first and as innocent lives continue to be slaughtered at the hands of Muslim jihadists it is quite clear that Islamic terror will continue; it is up to brave, Freedom loving men & women to face it and stop it.

America still has a lot to learn; as evidenced during the November 2008 presidential election.

I am not too naive or arrogant to believe or suggest that this great nation will ban Islam-for it is a recognized religion protected by the Constitution. However, we can ban laws that run counter to the constitution; laws such as Shariah Law can be summarily dispatched from the public arena.

Endeavors from the political arm of Islam to permeate into the fabric of America in order to destroy us should be aggressively confronted and stopped.

If we fail to address an enemy in our midst because that enemy is cunning enough to hide behind our Constitution-then that protective hold we have upon that sacred document becomes a suicidal grip.

We have the intellect, we need the will & political spine to utilize our Constitutional laws to protect us from the “religion of peace” and any hate group that desires our death or subjugation.

In 2006, during the Bush administration, Anwar Hajjaj asked U.S. Representative Gregory Meeks to appeal to Homeland Security (HLS) on his behalf regarding the scrutiny he was enduring at New York airports when he traveled to and from Saudi Arabia for the “pilgrimage to Mecca.”

Gregory Meeks, a Queens Democrat serving in Congress as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives covering NY’s 6th District ignored Hajjaj’s connections to al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden and complied with his request.

The NY Post via a FOIA request learned that in 2006 Meeks took then Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff to task over HLS officials questioning Hajjaj at JFK Airport and demanded to know why Hajjaj received "unwarranted scrutiny."

Who is Anwar Hajjaj?

Meeks described Hajjaj as “a pioneer in distance-based learning of Islam through the American Open University in Virginia.”

In addition to Meek’s letters, the Post uncovered plenty more.

Anwar Hajjaj and Abdullah A. bin Laden, Osama bin Laden's nephew, founded the Taibah International Aid Association, a charity that has been accused of funding al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden.

Hajjaj is also director of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth International (WAMY) a Virginia based group that was also founded by Abdullah bin Laden.

A WAMY publication lists people who have attacked Israelis as "heroes of Palestine" and referred to Jews as "humanity's enemies," according to a 2003 affidavit by a customs special agent.

Families of 9/11 victims have ongoing lawsuits against both organizations, citing the material support to Osama and al-Qaeda as grounds for the action. The lawsuit revealed that in 1996 the FBI listed WAMY as a suspected terror group.

U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels stated the allegations against the group are "sufficient to demonstrate that they are knowingly and intentionally providing material support to al-Qaeda."

Why would a U.S. Representative advocate on behalf of a bin Laden ally?

Hajjaj knew Meeks through the congressman’s chief of staff, Jameel Aalim-Johnson.

According to Congressman Meeks the letters he sent to HLS and other federal agencies was to “inquire about the treatment of two Muslim American citizens in particular that felt they were treated unfairly at U.S. ports of entry."

Before you ask are you freakin’ kidding me!? Yes, the Queens Democrat was indeed serious.

A quick recap:

• U.S. Rep. Greg Meeks scolded HLS for questioning Hajjaj.

• Hajjaj founded and directed two groups with the nephew of Osama bin Laden

• The two groups, one of which is on a FBI suspected terror list, has a credible lawsuit against them by the families of the 9/11 victims for providing material support to al-Qaeda and bin Laden.

While the troops are actively engaged in armed combat with al-Qaeda and searching for Osama, U.S. Representative Gregory Meeks is advocating on behalf of a character such as Hajjaj; clearly Meeks is not representing American interests.

Hanoi Jane is mild compared to today’s useful idiots.

Note: Anwar Hajjaj was not arrested at the airports, only questioned about his dubious connections. In other words, U.S. Customs at NY airports were doing their jobs back in 2006.

Fast forward to today.

Anwar Hajj had this to say, "It was an awful experience under the Bush administration, now under Obama, I have no complaints."

Obama Embraces Radical Imam and Denounces Radical Pastor

It has been widely reported that a Florida pastor planned on a Quran burning event to coincide with the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by Muslim jihadists. It was breaking news on Thursday when Pastor Terry Jones canceled his “International Burn a Koran Day.”

During the height of controversy over the Koran burning, Obama spoke out against it making it clear that he was speaking as “Commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States.” From this newly acknowledged position, the POTUS warned of the dangers to our troops and claimed the Florida pastor’s actions were counter to American values; clearly Obama made this a national issue.

Additionally, during the height of controversy over Imam Rauf’s desire via his Cordoba Initiative to erect a mosque 600-feet from Ground Zero, populate his already established Sharia Index Project, put into motion the subject of his book (published by terror supporting organizations) calling for dawa from the rubble of the WTC site and a Sharia compliant America, President Obama refused to weigh in brushing it off as a “local issue.”

Not only didn’t the president denounce the imam’s nefarious designs, he later embraced them during Ramadan celebrations at the White House.

Now, this isn’t a matter of pointing to bad behavior (radical imam) to justify other bad behavior (radical pastor). Both actions should be denounced, therein lays the rub and the point.

Nation of Islam Prevents Cop from Entering Harlem Mosque 7

Abdul Kareem Muhammad invited NYPD Detective Martin Brown to a community meeting inside the Nation of Islam's Mosque No. 7. The meeting was held in order to bridge a divide over allegations of police brutality.

Det. Brown was assigned to the liaison unit established by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. On July 30, 2010, the detective arrived at the mosque and was met by organizers who barred him from entering the location unless he relinquished his gun and shield.

The detective refused the order, dutifully waited outside and was finally greeted by Abdul Hafeez Muhammad, the imam of the mosque. The imam apologized to Det. Brown, but backed up the Nation of Islam militants and refused to let the cop into the meeting without surrendering his gun and shield.

An NYPD spokesperson stated, "Det. Brown was invited to the mosque but refused to comply with the request that he enter without his weapon or shield."

The NY Post reported a police source said it was a slap particularly since the detective had showed up in an act of conciliation and outreach.

The bigger problems and questions went unnoticed and unasked. History is usually interesting, but always relevant.

If one listens carefully, the nefarious designs of the nation’s enemies and/or their supporters will be heard; sometimes a simple title is the first clue to tyrannical endeavors. Update on getting the mega mosque site landmarked:

It is estimates that the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) will have a decision on the landmark status of the site before the end of summer. Click here for LPC contact information.

On July 20, The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) submitted additional written testimony to the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) urging city officials to landmark the site where the landing gear of one of the hijacked planes from 9-11 crashed through the roof of the building.

The ACLJ is an organization dedicated to the defense of constitutional liberties secured by law.

“The ACLJ represents Tim Brown, a decorated firefighter and first responder, who survived the Twin Towers’ collapse and lost nearly 100 friends. We also represent thousands of you who have signed on to our Committee to Stop the Ground Zero Mosque - Americans who oppose building an Islamic mosque on this site which should be used to honor and preserve the memory of 9-11 and its victims.”

In January 1973, Shuaib Raheem, aka Earl Robinson, and three others took over John & Al's Sporting Goods store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in order to steal firearms to wage “a war on injustices against Muslims.”

NYPD Police Officer Stephen Gilroy responded with other officers to the location. Officer Gilroy sustained a gunshot wound to the head; his body remained at the location along with other wounded officers and hostages for the duration of the two-day siege.
