The Sean Bell verdict was handed down Friday, proclaiming three NYPD officers not- guilty in the police shooting death of an armed 23-year-old Queens man.
That’s right folks you read that right, an “armed” man. That man was Sean Bell and he was armed and fully loaded with booze and a 3000-pound vehicle. Sean Bell struck a NYC police detective and a police vehicle.
The rules of engagement and justification laws are clear as defined by The NYS Penal Code. The use of deadly physical force (DPF) is necessary to defend the police officer or another person from what the officer reasonably believes to be the use or imminent use of DPF.
A 3000-pound vehicle when used as a weapon qualifies as DPF, particularly in addition to verbal statements from the Bell party referencing to “gat” and “Yo, get my gun, get my gun.” The totality of these events would lead a reasonable person in this circumstance to reasonably believe that the use of DPF is imminent and/or in fact being used, be it by the vehicle or firearm.
NYPD rules may dictate that an officer not utilize DPF against a moving vehicle unless DPF from other than the vehicle is being utilized (ex. someone shooting from inside the vehicle) this does not supersede State law.
Sean Bell by the nature of his lifestyle essentially committed suicide via police, certainly a tragic scenario. The actions of his chosen revelers namely Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield also heavily contributed to the death of Sean Bell as well as to their own sustained injuries.
Mr. Guzman was reportedly engaged in a dispute with a female inside the social club. As Bell’s friends left the scene one of them uttered, “Yo, get my gun and kill that dumb white bitch.” Undercover officers investigating a prostitution ring at the seedy establishment overheard this.
Mr. Bell had a past record for illegally possessing a firearm and allegedly sold drugs two months prior to the shooting. Joseph Guzman and Trent Benefield, who were also shot in the incident, had been arrested numerous times for illegal firearm possession and drug sales. Guzman has spent approximately 5-years in prison. After the incident Mr. Benefield continued on his violent path and allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend, he was ordered to attend behavioral counseling.
The tragedy on November 25, 2006 did not end with the life of Sean Bell. It was a tragic loss of justice when three NYPD officers were arrested and prosecuted for those events; Police officers that have sworn to defend the very city that failed to defend them.
Police officers that enjoyed good employment records and reputations were excoriated in the media and the courts. American men that held honorable jobs and families, men that were pursuing the American dream, men that were innocent of criminal behavior. These men happened to be Americans of color, but their positive and productive lifestyles were in direct contrast to the negative and criminal lifestyles to the men of color that earned NYC’s sympathy and Al Sharpton‘s support. Once again, Mr. Sharpton marched for the wrong cause. The acquittal was justice served.
The actions of all police officers should be scrutinized. Police officers hold a tremendous amount of public trust and power. Scrutiny and a higher standard should be expected and demanded. Political prosecution and pandering should never enter the arena. A proverbial quote comes to mind, “the difference between the way things are and the way they should be, will drive a sensitive man crazy.” I pray that these officers maintain their strength and courage.
It is shameful and tragic that Al Sharpton is given a stage to polarize NYC in order to further his pitiful agenda. Shameful and tragic not only because main stream folks allow a race arsonist to line his pockets on the backs of the very people he claims to represent, but what is ignored as a result. Actual crimes and the loss of innocent human life that occurs every day on the mean streets of NY and elsewhere are ignored. Black on black crime is a reality that rips apart families across America. The silence of the Sharptons of the world is deafening. Personal responsibility and empowerment are put aside and ignored.
Al Sharpton has a proven track record of fanning the flames of racial unrest. If he were a fire fighter, he would respond and fight the fire with gasoline. When Barack Obama cautioned restraint and correctly stated that violence in response to the verdict will be counter productive, Al Sharpton scoffed. Sharpton reportedly claimed that Obama was merely “grandstanding in front of white people” I wonder if they were “typical white people.” What say you Barack?
Al Sharpton has continued to champion causes where the “victims” have falsely accused innocent people and caused irreparable damage to careers, lives, and families. The Tawana Brawley case and the Duke Lacrosse case are two notable examples. It is sad that the silence of the Sharptons of the world is expected and apologies are not.
Assaults upon and murders of police officers, including officers of color, are reported in the newspapers and forgotten. The silence of the Sharptons of the world is accepted.
Who remembers this story? It will clarify the context of former president Jimmy Carter's recent trip to meet Hamas leaders - a Playboy interview from September 1988 with Yasser Arafat! Note the following:
1. Andrew Young, Jimmy Carter's UN ambassador, had a secret meeting with the PLO representative AT the United Nations; the PLO at the time had no internationally recognized status. Young's illegal secret dealings - the contents of which we still do not know to this day -- hit the papers because it was against the law for American diplomats as well as American citizens to have direct contact with terrorist organizations, Young had to resign. Carter disavowed any knowledge about the affair. America had a long-standing bi-partisan policy about such contacts and guidelines on diplomatic relations that Young violated, and Carter, according to his pretensions, did not. His recent actions belie his former assertions.
Remember that just a day or so ago Jimmy Carter, against long-standing bi-partisan US policy on diplomatic procedure AND LAW, has met with Hamas leaders who are recognized terrorists, as well as disregarded the legal status: Hamas is considered by every European nation as a major terrorist organization.
2.. Arafat admitted to having had a role in the release of US hostages from Tehran right after Jimmy Carter lost by a landslide to Ronald Reagan, when Reagan said into the cameras, "Let my people go!" And they did IN MINUTES! Jimmy Carter sat impotent in the Oval Office for 444 days, a year and a half, while Khomeini's thugs (and now we find some were Palestinian Arabs) held innocent Americans prisoners in untenable conditions. America's Left, remember, made great hay out of Abu Ghraib and Gitmo. They sat silent when Americans were held, interrogated and tortured for a far, far, longer period! There was not one march to convince the Iranians to free the Americans.
Consider that, if Yasser (who never kept any agreement as long as he had an advantage) had a role in the hostage release, for which he brags about in the interview below, it is likely that he had a greater role in the hostage taking; meaning he and the Palestinian Arabs who took American diplomats and their wives as hostages declared war on America as far back as the SEVENTIES!
3. Jimmy Carter, according to Yasser Arafat's recorded voice (in 1988!), had a personal relationship with the Palestinian gangster and the PLO. So goes the Leftie theory and Carter's assertions that Carter was an impartial party ready to resolve the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Rather here is the truth: Jimmy Carter is a paid Arab lobbyist who has acted in that role since and DURING his presidency. The Carter Center has received tens of millions of dollars from Arab sponsors. And many directors of the Center resigned right after Carter's "apartheid" charge against Israel was published! Today there is a Carter Center office in Ramallah! Here are the facts from a loyal Carter appointee:

You've read the conspiracy theories. Most are patched together factoids of nonsense and nightmares. JFK was killed by a single bullet fired by a single man from a single rifle. In 2003 Soros shorted the dollar and kept accumulating his shorts to this day. And you wonder why the dollar has collapsed? After all, Soros will take credit for all the other successes he engineered!
While Soros manipulated the world's markets, his top man informed the us about the Democratic Party's new status:

Soros spent the last years defaming and libeling vice president Dick Cheney, the former CEO of Halliburton, with the fabrication that Cheney started the war in Iraq because of profiteering motives. Never mind that Cheney has no stake in Halliburton and whatever he had is in blind trust and he could lose whatever he has because he has no control over it.
Never mind that for years Halliburton lost money before they made money. Never mind that one of the largest investors in Halliburton is the Quantum Fund. Huh, are we speaking of the George Soros-owned fund who named Quantum?
Nah! Not possible. George Soros' fund ONLY owns 2 million shares of Halliburton. Fact.
These are the people...not George Bush, not Dick Cheney, not the neo-cons...who are profiteering on the backs of the common man. These are the people who make the big profits from war, from strife, from hunger, from poverty and from economic problems. In fact....
These are the very people who have brought on us the economic crisis we are now facing.
Bush had nothing to do with it. Cheney had nothing to do with it. 1% interest rates had some to do with it. But 1% interest rates also allowed many poor folk to buy homes...and most of these folk are not giving up their jobs...and most of them are not losing their homes or their jobs.
There is the world of fantasy, a cartoon world of the new Left where the American president has the power to summon a hurricane to punish blacks for not voting for him; and the real world...the world of Soros, Paulson and Co. as depicted in the articles above.... about the real movers and shakers who are harming us all.
If one cannot put one and one and one together (sub prime having been shorted, the dollar having been shorted, and Halliburton being bought up by the very same guys who shorted the sub prime and the dollar), then one cannot put anything together.
If one cannot make the parallels between Soros and Paulson above, and the meltdown below, then one is incapable of making parallels about anything.

Hillary repeated portions of this long tale along the campaign trail. Numerous people quickly debunked her. Yep, there was in fact a greeting ceremony, including the presence of Ejup Ganic, the former acting president of Bosnia and 8-year-old Emina Bicakcic a Bosnian girl that read Hillary a poem.
Hillary's snipergate caused some political heat for her. She toughed it out, stated she misspoke (which is politician for lying), and appeared on the Tonight show with Jay Leno. On the show, she minimized the damage by some self-deprecating humor and by the end of the week she began to crawl out from under the pile heap. So it seemed.
Enter William Jefferson Clinton. Good ol' Bill attempted to provide some cover for his lady. There were a few problems with that namely she didn't need the extra cover. Just as Hillary began to emerge, Bill piled it on by shooting from the lip with more Clinton lies. It appeared that Slick Willie just could not keep it zipped, despite the urging to do just that by the lady he was apparently trying to protect.
Before we go to the tale of Bill's tape, let's note a couple of items he threw out there while scolding the media. He claimed Hillary's trip took place in 1995, when it occurred in 1996. He further claimed that "some of them (members of the media) when they're 60 they'll forget something when they're tired at eleven o'clock at night too."
What does that say about Bill's confidence in the capability of a tired 61-year-old Hillary Clinton answering that red phone at 3:00 in the morning?
Now, Bill's claims that prompted Hillary to beg Mr. Clinton to Zip it:
Claim She immediately apologized.
Fact She said she misspoke after a week, never apologized.
Claim She told the false story one time at night when she was exhausted.
Fact She repeated the story many times, most recently in a 9:00 am speech.
Claim Arrival ceremony was abbreviated.
Fact At ceremony a young girl read Hillary a poem.
Claim She went to the front of the plane and everybody else put flak jackets under their seats. (This adds a level of protection from ground to air fire)
Fact Pilot says no one under him ever directed people to sit on flak jackets.
Claim President of Bosnia and Gen. Clark defended her.
Fact Former Bosnian president called story an exaggeration and Clark said she made inaccurate statements.

The "race" in The Race....facts...not fiction please.
We've seen the videos of radical Muslim imams preach hate, violence and intolerance at the "infidels," meaning ourselves, people of other religions and other cultures...and shall we say, of various sexual preferences.
Given that perspective we can come to conclusions about other sources of hate and intolerance against race, class, wealth, and business, right here in America. What stands out most dramatically in this political season are parallels between the hatefilled and enraged imams and certain Americans prominent on the political landscape which paints a fundamentalist religious and political fervor by incorporating their intolerance and hate against class (which they all lack), and other races, that they hope the rest of America will turn a blind eye to.
They are mistaken! We know too, that their anti-war sentiments are not pacifism, or an argument that is morally or evidence based, but rather one that says this: "America has no right to spend money on liberation of hostile states and on national security when we should get that money spent right here, in OUR inner city communities!" In other words, OUR community (meaning their narrow inner city world) is FAR more important than the Global Community and the welfare of all of mankind.
It is clear that America's national security is threatened not only from without, but from within!
We see parallels: revisions of history to fit their ideologies, and more strikingly, the very same political world view these hostile Americans share with the Islamofascists of Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. These groups are a permanent, dangerous and subversive Fifth Column posed to undermine civilized American society from within; and sabotage too, our national security interests abroad.
For example, our national security interest to secure safe passage for, and to provide access to, affordable heating oil and gasoline for Mr. Averageman, your best friend, and for Grandma next door...
In general, the very same people who have been clamoring for "understanding," 'peace," and "tolerance" have become the most intolerant, least understanding, and least peaceful of all.
The Communists and Nazis were both socialist (Class Warfare) ideologies. They were established as movements against class, minority groups not dominant within the main body of the population, and specifically targeting wealth -- meaning individuals who have achieved and made something of themselves. Both are fundamentally based in The Politics of Envy.
In other words, Communism and Nazism are two sides of the very same coin.
Both confiscated the property and products of the ambitious, talented, resourceful and productive, and transferred the same to the state; or better yet, to the lazy, talentless, resourceless, the mean and small minded, and the unproductive. The Communists and Nazis were NOT a distinctive Left vs. Right ideology as many would like to think. In fact, both were Left of the political spectrum. The Royalists were on the Right.
Both of these ideologies are Fascistic -- control freaks. They are in many ways the same as the Islamofascists who mean to control every aspect of your lives. Most importantly all three are not only anti-democratic and anti-freedom, they are anti-liberal and anti-progressive!
Critics of the critics of Senator Obama insist that he is NOT responsible for the statements of his closest confidant, mentor AND pastor Reverend Wright, who teaches "Black Liberation Theology" and dispenses the anti-white and anti-Semitic vitriol the very same as Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan, whom Wright feted with honors. Obama's critics are told that they have not heard the Reverend's speeches in the context he intended and therefore their criticism lacks merit. This is all true. However, it is not, since Obama and Michelle sat through Wright's speeches for twenty years and were never on record to have opposed them.
What is one to conclude...that the Obama Family does not believe what Wright has repeatedly sermonized?
In any case, the speeches are available and have been analyzed...below...in the context they were made.
The racial supremacy espoused by the Reverend Wright (of course totally discredited by religious scripture, historical fact and the statistics published in the hated "The Bell Curve" -- which, incidentally, has NEVER been discredited), is exactly the same in content as the racial vitriol integrated (no pun intended) in Adolph Hitler's Mein Kampf. Hitler's irrationality against Jews, Gypsies, Slovaks, Blacks, and certain Asians are the very same kind as Farrakhan's and Wright's against white folk and Jews.
Interesting observation: The most violent, hate filled, irrational and enraged are those with the least achievements.
